About Katherine:

I am a highly-qualified and certified Elementary teacher with 13 years of experience. I am certified to teach all core subjects K-8 and teach Special Education K-12. I have experience tutoring through the Sylvan Learning Center plus, I tutored students last year.

I use all types of methods to tutor. I reward students when they do well or when I think they should be rewarded. I use visual, audio, and kinesthetic methods to help students learn. I will work closely with your child to insure he or she understands what he/she is doing. I am someone who goes out of her way to guarantee students become proficient in the areas he/she is struggling with.
